It was so delightful to see Sarah and her growing family! We photographed Sarah’s wedding a few years ago and she was a bridesmaid in Gina’s wedding as well. Last fall, they welcomed a new addition to their family and we were excited to do an at-home session for them!
I loved getting to know this sweet little family for their daughter’s third birthday. They’re new in town and we hope they are loving Pittsburgh! Welcome home!
Rebecca and Nathan’s son had his second birthday in July, so in August, we got together to do some birthday portraits for him. He was such a good little listener and I just love the images we were able to create! Thanks so much, H. Family, for choosing Kristen Wynn Photography for your portraits! It was a pleasure to work with you!
I love this birthday hat Rebecca brought with her!
Last photo—Malachi shows us how he feels about getting his photo taken 🙂
It was wonderful to work with a great family last week in Titusville. This weather is perfect for family portraits-not too hot just yet, and not too cold like it can sometimes be around the holiday portrait time here in Florida.
Andrea emailed me and told me that she had recently had a baby and that attempting to take photos themselves simply wasn’t cutting it anymore. With two big sisters and a new little baby, life can be hectic; it can be hard to get any of the kids to sit still for just a minute to take the photos.
I always like to get a few images of the couple without the kids as well, since the last time many couples had photos taken was on their wedding day.
I think we did a pretty good job of corralling the kids for some images, but luckily, I had help from grandparents and great-grandparents too. We were able to capture some nice extended family images in a beautiful community in Titusville. And while we were originally scheduled for an evening sunset time, I think moving the session to the morning was much better for the little ones.
Andrea, your family is beautiful and so sweet with one another. Thanks for having me as your photographer; it was a pleasure to work with you. I hope you enjoy your images for many years to come!
I first met Sara when we were both planning our weddings a few years back. We keep in touch and she’s been so kind to offer me up the use of some of her family property for shoots when I’m in town.
And wow, it is a great piece of property. I actually have a shot of the exterior of the home that I took that I think would make a GREAT Christmas card for them next year-I’m not posting it for privacy reasons, but it is in their gallery for them to enjoy!
Sara and her family were looking to have some extended family portraits done around Christmastime when the whole gang was together, especially their grandparents.
Rather than go to a studio with over twenty people, they decided to do some on-location shots. The Christmas decorations and the wood and fireplace made for a really cozy scene. We even included some pets in a few of the shots!
These are a little more formal than most of my work, but I think the holidays are a time for a little formality!
Thanks so much, M. family, for having me! I hope a joyous holiday was had by all! 🙂
It has been a long while since I did a family session. 🙂 Let me introduce you to Melanie and her sweet family.
They came out to see me in Lake Buena Vista for a family session for Melanie’s mom as a birthday gift.
And it was little T’s birthday weekend too! She was turning the big 7 and was so happy to mug for the camera for me. She was so sweet and cute. I love this photo of her when we were trying to go for a serious look!
I loved the families outfits, coordinating, but T, Melanie, and David are still each showing off their own style. They even did an outfit switch to a more formal look as well. 🙂
Melanie has a great smile, and she better, because she is in school to be a dental hygienist and eventually, a dentist.
It was so wonderful to meet you all and I hope you love your photos as much as I do!
I first met Brandy and her husband last fall when I did a family photo shoot for them and their cute dog.
Now, they’re adding one more to their family. Brandy was about 28 weeks along, so her baby will be here before we know it!
I got to meet Brandy’s mom (grandma-to-be) down at Disney’s Vero Beach resort, which is just beautiful. The beach was immaculate and the rain held off for us to get some great inside and outside photos. This one’s kind of a silly shot, to show where we were for the day!
I LOVE the name Brandy and Kevin picked out for their new son (it’s a boy!), but I don’t know if I can spill the beans on here! (Hint: It comes from a very popular TV show that just ended last week).
Happy and healthy last few months to you, momma-to-be! 🙂
B’s mom Tammi decided to try something different from the portrait studios and do an outdoor session for her little one’s first birthday. Here are just a few of my favorite shots.
I had a ton of fun during the shoot. Toddlers are FAST!
The outfits that Tammi brought along for her kiddos were adorable. The park was super busy that day, but B. did a great job and enjoyed his birthday balloons.
I hope you enjoy your photos; I know I enjoyed working with your beautiful family.
Right before I left for Christmas and on New Year’s Eve Day while I was home for Christmas, I did some photo shoots. If we are Facebook friends, you may have already seen the shots, but I thought I would post them here anyway. I had a ton of fun in downtown Pittsburgh. This bridge shot creeps my mama out because it looks like they are actually sitting on the side of it, but don’t worry, there is a walkway right beneath them.
