Amy and Mike were married in a beautiful spring ceremony over in Harmony, Florida. The colors were yellow and blue, and the weather was beautiful.

This photo above was taken by Jen Stevenson, the second shooter.

Amy is an avid runner, and she even had tennis shoes to put on under her dress in her wedding colors.

This wedding had a lot of great professionals working behind the scenes. Thanks so much to Michelle, the Harmony coordinator, and the following wedding pros!

Hair Styling: Re Jones in the Salon and Spa on the Boulevard in Melbourne, Florida

Floral: Beautiful Bouquets and Baskets in Palm Bay, Florida

Ceremony Venue: Cat Lake in Harmony, Florida

Reception Venue: Harmony Golf Club in Harmony, Florida

After the ladies’ prep, we headed over to meet the groomsmen and get a few shots around the golf course.

You can really see how nice the weather was with the blue sky and the clouds.

After Amy was dressed, we did a matching golf course shot for her as well.

Amy had a special surprise for her dad-a horse-drawn carriage to take them to the ceremony at Cat Lake. After the ceremony, the bride and groom rode away in the carriage as well before starting their portraits. It was definitely something unique that the guests were excited to see.

The sunset was glowing orange through the trees, so there were a lot of opportunities for beautiful photos with that light.

After some additional photos in the field of wildflowers at Harmony, we headed to the reception. There, Amy and Mike had a candy buffet and, instead of one wedding cake, they had a collection of dessert cakes.

After an evening of dancing, the newlyweds exited to a bubble send-off and climbed into the limo to start their new lives together. Please enjoy your fabulous honeymoon in New Zealand; it will be amazing! Congratulations and thank you so much for having Kristen Wynn Photography as your wedding day photographer.

Danielle and Dustin wanted to do the Mini Kiss 4×4″ albums this year. I waited to blog these book layouts until the Christmas gift-giving was complete!

When I work with my couples on albums, we can do the design one of three ways-it’s your choice! You can pick every single image for the album, I can pick every image for the album for you, or you can pick your absolute favorites and then have me use my artistic eye to select the remaining images to tell the story of your day.

With Danielle, she and Dustin selected their favorites, and then I completed the design by selecting complimentary images to make a complete book. As always, you have a chance to approve your design and make changes before it goes to print. This is an easy way to design an album, especially if you have so many photos, you don’t even know where to start in selecting and designing the book!

They grew up across the country from each other, Mauro in Toronto with his big Italian family and lots of sisters, and Chantelle in B.C. with her little brothers. And they didn’t meet until Mauro relocated and came into Chantelle’s parents’ television store, the family business.

Chantelle wore a garter with handcuffs on it in honor of Mauro’s career in law enforcement, while an antique bracelet baring her middle name was her something old.

Chantelle’s father told the story best when he gave one of the many reception speeches, a Canadian tradition at weddings. He said that while waiting on this very tall young man, he thought instantly “Oh, Chantelle, this may just be the one…”

Chantelle was there that day in the store, and indeed he *was* the one. In a twist of fate, Mauro and the store’s phone numbers are very close to each other, and at the wedding, Mauro got quite a few laughs when he promised his new father-in-law that he would make sure to still forward the mistaken calls he gets!

These two are pretty much a photographer’s dream. First look in 100 degree weather? Okay! Doing all the formal photos prior to the ceremony? Done. Not panicking when the sprinklers came on suddenly and we had to run across the street? Yep, that too.

Dozens of friends and family flew to Orlando from all over Canada to celebrate with them. And I’m so glad I was able to be there with them too-thanks you two for bringing me on for your big day. You were truly SO, SO wonderful and the perfect couple for a photographer to work with.

They had the best first dance I’ve ever seen. A lot of brides choreograph a first dance now, or start off with a slow song and then switch to a fast one. But I’ve seen these dances get more and more elaborate lately, and Chantelle and Mauro really took the cake with songs from Grease and Dirty Dancing, including the lift!

I hope you enjoyed your cruise and time in our state! Please enjoy your photos and keep in touch!
