When I grow up, I want to be Jenny and Fred. (They’re younger than me so I say this in jest!) But they are two people to look up to!
These two met through church and friends as they were in school at Pitt. Jenny and Fred are both very well educated – Jenny is a pharmacist and Fred is a physician! And they are continuing on for more schooling too – Jenny’s getting a PhD and Fred is moving into a fellowship after residency.
Due to the timing of their work schedules, Jenny and Fred had a small ceremony making things official with their pastor and parents, THEN did their honeymoon, THEN did their big wedding!
Jenny’s veil was so soft and flowy – I loved it! For drama, a cathedral veil is a must. Jenny had 3 outfits – a traditional wedding gown, a traditional red Chinese wedding dress, and a party dress. Fred just had one outfit – but he rocked it.
It was a beautiful spring day in April and these two got ready separately, then did a sweet first look at CMU Columns and photos around Oakland and Pitt. After, they had their ceremony at the church that is dear to their hearts. Then, it was time for the reception at Soldiers and Sailors – the rain came down and a rainbow came out! Jenny and Fred’s parents and family came from out of town and it was so nice to see them value that time and spend time with guests. They even did the “run around” the tables new tradition where you get a photo with each table during one song as a challenge (thanks, Tiktok!)
These two danced their booties off at the reception and had an amazing time. The day was so joyful!
