Megan and Ben had a lovely winter wedding at the George Washington Hotel. They really loved the beauty of their venue and wanted to embrace the look of the venue, the prettiness, the glamour and the glowing lights! Megan and Ben also wanted a lot of variety for their photos, so we tried to use different parts of the venue – the piano, the lobby, the Washington Room, and the fireplace – just to name a few!
It was a chilly day, but we did a few photos outside at the courthouse (on the side not under construction!) as the sun was setting! These two opted to stay traditional with no first look, but it stayed light enough just long enough for their portraits! One of their special details was the fireplace they decorated with candles in the ballroom which was a great focal point.
Megan and Ben spent a lot of time selecting their details. I loved Megan’s red lip and Hollywood waves. At the end of the night, they had a neon sign and chicken wings for their after party and we did a sparkler exit! The wedding was classy, elegant, and timeless.
