Tammy and Chris met at work and their first date was in the Strip District – so it made sense that they would have their wedding in the Strip District. These two chose Heinz History Center for their ceremony and reception.
The ladies got ready at the AC Hotel right next door then walked over to Heinz History and got dressed in the conference room before we took some photos in the alley and areas nearby. Chris got ready at Heinz History Center as well in the board room (he is retired military and wore his uniform) – Tammy and Chris wanted to incorporate red, white, and blue into their wedding day.
Their ceremony was held on the first floor in the Great Hall (the room with the trolley), while cocktail was held on the 4th floor in the Heinz area. Then the guests came upstairs to the ballroom, which features a beautiful balcony. We quickly did some outdoor photos with the wedding party and bride and groom following the heartfelt ceremony.
At sunset, we headed to the balcony for some great silhouettes and later in the night, the couple went around to a few exhibits for photos before we headed to their afterparty at the AC Hotel Level 7 Bar. These two were married exactly one year to the date of Chris’ surprise proposal to Tammy at the Wyndham Grand Hotel. The guests all had a great time – when the lights came up, I noticed no one moving to leave – and I know everyone (including us!) enjoyed the sundae bar!
Note to the couple:
Tammy and Chris, thank you for letting us be a part of your special day! It was a pleasure to work with the two of you! We thank you for choosing Kristen Wynn Photography and wish you a lifetime of love and happiness always. Congratulations!
