Teresa and Mike have been together for many years and together they have five kids! They’ve been engaged for awhile too but plans kept being put on hold (due to having a baby, health issues, and the pandemic) but finally on Thanksgiving week, they were able to get married!
Teresa had a lot of little details incorporated in her day and even had very light touches of the movie Beauty and the Beast. She also walked down the aisle to the new remix of Kiss the Girl from the Little Mermaid.
Speaking of walking down the aisle, Teresa rolled with the punches when the rain storm rolled in. They didn’t do a first look, but they did do a first touch, so we got some photos with them touching but with Mike’s eyes closed. Then, after the ceremony in the ballroom, we quickly gathered outside for some photos in the wedding garden and then we drove just a short distance down the road to a covered area where they could get out of the misty rain and dance in the rain too.
At the end of the reception, the couple did a private last dance (this is a new trend up here this year but has been a thing in Florida when I photographed weddings there a decade ago!) and then they went out to do a sparkler send off and start their new married life together.
