We first met Bridget and Cameron in October 2018 when we did their engagement session in Cleveland. The couple currently resides in Chicago but chose to have their wedding here in Pittsburgh where Bridget lived when she was younger.
The day started at the Drury Hotel in downtown Pittsburgh. While Bridget and Cam shared a “first touch”, they chose to include their parents in the moment where they prayed before the ceremony.
The couple exchanged several gifts on the day of the wedding. Cam gave Bridget framed lyrics to their first dance song “From the Ground Up”. Bridget had Cameron’s pocket square embroidered with a sweet message.
If you have a lot of out-of-town guests, shuttles are a convenient way for everyone to get around! Continuous shuttles ran from the hotel/church/reception for their guests.
All of Bridget and Cam’s family played an important role in the wedding day, including the five-month-old flower girl who was wheeled down the aisle in a floral covered wagon!
While the couple and bridal party took portraits around Longue Vue, cocktail hour was held outside. Along with appetizers and drinks, the couple had giant Jenga and corn-hole. The bride’s younger brother even made the corn hole boards – one Cleveland Browns and one Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Bachelor Boys band played during the reception. The cookies on the cookie table were all made by family and friends of the couple. Late night food – the couple’s favorite, tacos – were brought out before the couple headed out for their sparkler exit.
