Maria and Graham were married on the first day of fall which coincidentally felt like the first real fall day with a temperature in the 60’s. These two met at Penn State in supplemental housing. For those of you who don’t know what supplemental housing is, that is when the dorm runs out of space and they put you in a common room with bunk beds until enough people drop out of school that there’s room for you in regular dorms. 🙂

Maria’s sister Natalie, serving as maid of honor, gave a toast that talked about how when she first met Graham he had flowing brown hair and was playing his guitar and she knew from that moment that Graham would steal Maria’s heart. Maria’s dad, Paul, gave one of the best father of the bride speeches we’ve ever heard!

On the way to the ceremony, Maria and her bridesmaids were listening to the Hamilton soundtrack, in which Maria knew all the words. The couple are going to New York for a few days as a mini moon and got tickets to see the show.

It was important for Maria and Graham to keep all of their events for their day close together because they had so many out of town guests. Maria go ready at her parent’s home and Graham got ready at the Fairfield Suites in McCandless. We all headed to St. Teresa of Avila Church. With the cocktail hour starting right after the ceremony, we headed over to a great portrait location nearby – La Roche College. Some of the guests could probably see us taking photos since the reception venue, Grand Room at Holy Trinity Church, was right across the street from La Roche.

Now there’s nothing like a live band at a wedding! This band, Dan Orlando Band, kept the dance floor going all night! This band is from New York City and Maria and Graham saw them when they were guests at another wedding. The couple ended their reception with a sparkler send-off.

Note to the couple:
