Brittany and Corey got married and had their reception at The Grand Concourse in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on Labor Day weekend. They were married just shy of the anniversary of their first date twelve years ago!

Although the two went to high school together, they did not start dating until their college years at Ohio State. Corey proposed when they were vacationing in Paris.

Both the ladies and men got ready at Hotel Monaco. Being a pet friendly hotel, their dog Alfie got to be there while they got ready for their special day. He was so well behaved when it was time for photos!

The couple opted to do a “first look” in front of their bridal party. After the first look, the bride and groom had photos taken at several spots throughout the downtown Pittsburgh area – Mellon Green, Mellon Square, in back of the courthouse – before finishing up at the Strip District and the Smithfield Street Bridge.

The ceremony, officiated by Joyce Chilton, was held on the steps in The Grand Concourse in front of 140 of their closest family and friends. After the ceremony, the couple got to join their guests for cocktail hour at The Gandy Dancer.

The reception had a vintage feel with the escort cards looking like train tickets – designed and made by the groom himself! As an extra treat for the guests, the couple had a popcorn bar as well as a slow motion booth.

Note to the couple:
