Kadie and Zachary live all the way in Alaska for Zachary’s job! They made the journey back to their hometown in Pennsylvania for the big day!
Kadie got ready at her parents’ home with all of her bridesmaids. It was a hot day outside, but we had a great time with all the ladies!
After the ceremony, we found a great photo spot with a rustic wall for bridal party portraits, then we headed to the Laurelville Mennonite Camp Campus to incorporate some woodsy style portraits. One of my favorite shots of the day was having Assistant Allison stand on the steps and illuminate the couple with some lighting to change the look of the portrait even though it was broad daylight.
Following portraits, we headed to Bell’s Banquets where Kadie’s mom Roxanne planned a surprise – a local theater troupe came in to serenade the couple during their cake cutting. I loved seeing Kadie’s surprised face when she realized what was happening.
The dance floor was packed and at the end of the night, the couple ran out in the parking lot to a line of sparklers!
Congratulations, you two! We wish you a lifetime of love and happiness always!
