Melissa and Joseph went to high school together and they both took part in marching band. Who would have ever guessed that these two would be getting married a decade later?
They met at McKeesport High School and Joseph proposed at a cabin in Seven Springs. Joseph is in the educational field (he works at a center where I used to work and support wholeheartedly! I miss all the staff there!) and Melissa is in the hospitality field. Being in the hospitality field made it great for her wedding day – she had a beautiful getting ready room at the Springhill Suites Southside for her bridal prep.

Melissa had a beautiful brooch bouquet – her colors were metallic gold and black. She also wore a birdcage veil, which brought in a nice vintage touch!
They had a short and sweet ceremony at the hometown church before exiting to a sea of bubbles. We had a little rain before heading out to our photo spot in the Southside, but it didn’t put a damper on the day.
J. Verno was beautifully lit for the wedding, with pinspot lighting to highlight the centerpieces. The chandeliers were beautiful as well and everyone danced the night away with the new newlyweds!
Congratulations, you two! I wish you a lifetime of love and happiness always!
