This past summer, Lucy and Matt had their engagement photos done in Sewickley and before you know it, it was time for their wedding!
Lucy and her mom, grandma, and sister spent the morning getting ready at the salon and then again at the Sheraton Station Square, which always has beautiful lighting in the rooms for getting dressed. Matt and his family were nearby at their family home – Matt’s brother served as best man.
Lucy and Matt really wanted a wedding that reflected who they are as a couple – they kept the bridal party small with just one attendant each. They definitely wanted a more social/party atmosphere for their reception than a night filled with formalities.
They had their wedding in late November – these two braved the cold to get some images around Station Square after sunset.
The ceremony was held on the patio of the Gandy Dancer in the Grand Concourse and the cocktail style reception was held inside immediately following. Lucy’s gown was made so that she could remove the bottom portion of the skirt – so it gave a more fun and casual look for the reception portion of the evening!
I loved seeing Lucy’s smile all day – she was so genuinely happy to be marrying the love of her life; Matt and Lucy exchanged their own vows in an emotional moment during the ceremony.
It was an honor to work with you two! I wish you a lifetime of happiness and love together!
